Biography

I received a Master's Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Colorado State University. While attending CSU, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Exercise and Sport Science department; I was also a student athletic trainer and strength coach for the men's baseball and ice hockey teams. Since graduating from CSU, I have obtained certifications from NASM as a Personal Trainer, NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), NATA as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), and from ISSN as a Certified International Sports Nutritionist. I began teaching at Paradise Valley and Scottsdale Community Colleges in the Fall semester of 2000.
