Biography

Educational Philosophy: I believe in student learning through action. As a teacher I provide students with experiences that allow them to develop coherent models to explain the world around them. This is referred to as the "Modeling" approach to instruction in chemistry. I view myself as a "Guide by the Side" in your education, rather than the "Sage on the Stage."

Educational Biography: I am a proud alumnus of Arizona State University and still a proud Sun Devil! I earned a B.A.E. in Chemistry in 2003 and recieved my Master of Natural Science (MNS) in Physics through ASU in 2010. I have experience teaching both Physics and Chemistry so feel free to discuss anything science/math with me or come in for any science help! My office is NS31.
