Biography

Hello! I started my education as an Artichoke and graduated with my Associates in Nursing Science from Scottsdale Community College in 2010! I then earned my Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Arizona State University in 2012. I became a clinical instructor for SCC and realized I love teaching new nursing students how to care for patients so I decided to get my Masters of Science in Nursing specializing in Education. I earned that from Western Governors University in 2017. I most recently worked at the bedside with patients as a float RN at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. I worked with all types of adult patients but my specialty is cardiothoracic surgical post-op care. I also currently teach Medical Terminology here at SCC and Community Health at Upper Iowa University.
